Tai Chi for Arthritis

Tai Chi for Health Programs are safe and effective for health. Dr. Paul Lam and a team of experts created these programs by combining authentic traditional Tai Chi, up-to-date medical knowledge and teaching methods.

Tai Chi for Arthritis is based on Sun style Tai Chi.  This style was chosen because of its higher stances, making it easier for beginners and older people to learn and practice. This style features Qigong exercises to improve relaxation and facilitate healing.

The slow and gentle flowing movements provide excellent exercise for the muscles and joints which leads to improved balance, mobility, flexibility and is effective in preventing falls.

Tai Chi integrates both the body and mind. Many medical studies have shown Tai Chi to be effective for improving many aspects of health.

Tai Chi is a low impact exercise, generally suitable to people of all ages and fitness levels. To practice Tai Chi slowly is an enjoyable and safe experience.
